tomorrow is the day

^^^ old picture all the way back from lagoon day in May. i think it is silly and cute. so what the heck.

tomorrow is the day. MOVE OUT DAY.

how weird is that? moving out. i have lived in the same house for 18 years, and tomorrow i leave it. and even though i will be back all the time... i will be *moved out*. it's actually crazy. of course it happens to everyone eventually, but it's a big change.

i have spent countless hours packing up my things, and i haven't even started on any of my clothes yet... i figure that will be the longest part too, because i kind of have a lot of clothes. which i am also worried about... because going from a walk in closet to a dresser and a small rack is going to be pretty interesting!

it's weird to think i only have 1 or 2 more nights sleeping at home. i'll miss my bed. i'll miss my room. but i am ready for this new chapter in my life. Briana and i can't stop talking about how we will decorate our dorm room together... that will definitely be the BEST part! i am actually giddy :)

HALF TEE

i have discovered something new! it's called HALF TEE and they are awesome. they are half of a shirt. the point of them? layering! the shirt cuts off just under the breast, and is perfect for sleeveless dresses/shirts, tank tops, etc.

i bought this adorable white // black silk tank {on sale!} a few weeks ago, and because i don't really wear tank tops, i didn't really know what to wear it with. until i discovered this half tee! i paired the white half tee with the white // black tank top and added a denim vest! genius right?

in love with this genius idea! and i already thought of a million other things i could wear this with. some of my other tanks would work perfect with it! it's genius i tell you. and nobody would ever know that i am wearing a shirt AND a tank. i am wearing the boyfriend style half tee, and the fabric really is amazing. AND, just as a side note, they also have maternity + little girlee styles!

 ^^^ also, totally in love with these new booties of mine. and they were free. heck yeah

5 things i did this weekend

1 | more temple time with my favorite boy

2 | DATE NIGHT. with T-money, Briana, and her date, Taggert. it involved lots of sushi, now you see me at the dollar movie, and a midnight yogurt run to Yogurtland. and just as a side note, we were totally going to go to Happy Sumo for dinner, until it was a 2 hour wait... so we ended up at Kyoto as first timers. sushi is sushi and we will be BACK.

4 | watched my girl cheer in her first BYU game {volleyball Alumni game!}

5 | suit shopping with the new missionary + his parents! studly man i tell ya. it just isn't fair that i really won't even get to see him in these suits... lucky people in Gilbert.

i am totally giddy over here

>>  IT'S HERE!!! the envelope has finally arrived! tyler opens his mission call tonight and i am literally counting down the minutes... yeeee! in just under 5 hours we will find out where he will be spending the next 2 years! i can hardly wait. i am so proud of him.
>>  my girl Briana is cheering in her FIRST game down here at BYU on saturday! can't wait to see you babe!
>>  the fact that my co-worker brought in a bag full of ripe nectarines to work today. seriously in heaven over here
>>  i saw iron man 3! i am feeling accomplished cause i haven't been to a movie in over a month , and i have missed them. yes it was just a dollar movie and we had to sit on the front row {umm.. neck pain} but i loved it! love those movies. and just movies in general.
>>  i started working not only at the health center, but the MTC as well! which i love. the atmosphere of that place is unbelievably amazing. i love it.
>>  school has started for everyone in high school and lower. but me? still 2 weeks of summer. boo-yah
>>  muddy buddies. didn't ya know im obsessed?
>>  today, thursday. because it's my LAST day of work this week! huzzzzah!

yes. yes i realize these pictures "look" like engagements. NO i am not engaged.... my good friend Hannah said she wanted to take pictures of Tyler and i together before his mission... so how could i say no? i mean really. really.

Hannah is AMAZING! she took our pictures last Thursday and even though we are gonna get some seriously annoying comments for posting these, we love them. she did an awesome job and i love every single one.

and tyler in these pictures? i'm going to take full credit on picking out that outfit of his. hellooooooo hotttieeee

they are super cute though.... right? i know. literally can't stop looking and drooling over them.
i'm going to frame every single one for my dorm and never get bored of them.

this past week

Briana made it! she is officially moved in with me! it's been a fun weekend, because her family came down with her for a few days, so we've been hangin with them too!

Friday night when they got here, we headed up to squaw peak to check out the view and catch up on what's happened since we last saw each other!

Saturday morning we headed out to Draper together, to attend the ILY COUTURE blogger event! it was really the greatest thing in the world, because I got to meet some of  my all time favorite bloggers AND buy a bunch of their clothes! ummmmmmm HELLO

SO fun to go out and see them and know that the people I stalk everyday over the internet are actually real people ;)

 ^^^ giddy about our purchases!


and yesterday afternoon Tyler and I headed to the temple again. this time, Provo. it's one of our favorite things to do together these days, especially since Tyler's papers are in.

 it's been a good week! and tomorrow it's back to the grind. workin lots this week, AND my sibs start school Tuesday! we have kissed summer goodbye my friends. yes I am crying about that.

a new doooooooo

that's right. I finally did it! I got myself a melt. it took me forever, and I can't believe I actually did it! a much needed change, that I absolutely L O V E

 

 

and guess who is on her way here? BRIANA!! I can't even wait to see her! and now she will be down here for good... for school! + she gets to live with me for 2 weeks until we move out! woooooo hoooooo!

over the weekend

I only have a few days off work, and the days I have off, Tyler and I like to plan ahead and get the most we can out of the day! and on Saturday, his family invited me to hang with their fam for the day. we floated down provo river and spent the afternoon and evening at their cabin up by sundance! I love that their family loves me. it's almost really fun too when the cousins like me more than tyler ;) but my family is the same way with him... so touché tyler, touché.

mission papers

ironic that i am posting a picture of us kissing, when this is titled *mission papers* right? yeah kinda.... i know. but i like him too much. AND i like this picture... so what the heck.

Tyler's mission papers  A R E   S U B M I T T E D. ahhhhhhhh this is crazy. and i am SO proud of him :) he is going to make the greatest missionary and i am so giddy to see where he gets called! his call should be coming in a week 1/2 or 2 weeks, and all we ever talk about now is where we think he will be spending the next 2 years! those 2 years without him will be tough for me, it's definitely bittersweet. but this is such a blessing and i am so excited to see him serve! i am so grateful for his example.

okay enough gushy gushy... i'm just excited for ma mannnn.

the countdown is ON ladies & gentleman. get excited.

wednesday night at vivian

last night when i got off work, Tyler and i decided to head up the canyon with a camera and have some fun together. we went to Vivian park! we went on a little hike up the mountain {carefully. since i was wearing wedged sneakers {which are my new fav}... ha! it was a sight i tell ya} and found a pretty sweet view, + a river to take pictures by

 even though it was starting to get dark once we got to the top, we used the flash and did what we could! mostly just being silly and trying to balance ourselves on a large log. and taking as many pictures possible! *beware. there are lots.*

 ^^^ that smile. I mean..... really.

 ^^^ i couldn't stay balanced for the life of me! i guess tyler thought that was funny. but hey, i'd like to see HIM do it in heels...

 we kind of really like each other. a whole bunch.

we eventually hiked back down because the sun had set, then had more fun at the park together. we brought a blanket + stargazed. annnnndddd maybe took more pictures. yeah we took lots more pictures...

and even though we got attacked by mosquito's and got freaked out by animals in the bushes.... AND risked keena falling off the mountain in wedged sneakers... it was a really good night.
