Halloween with the Horton's

this year for Halloween us Horton's stuck with most of our favorite traditions! pumpkin carving, dressing up + Halloween dinner at G&G's, Halloween dinner at our own home, and the best pumpkin bars (made only with... pumpkin, spice, and chocolate chips.) in the world!

most of our family stuff was done Monday night, and dinner at grandma & grandpa's was on Sunday!

after a Halloween dinner with broccoli cheese soup (my mom's is the BEST) in pumpkin bread bowls, we carved our pumpkins as a family!

don't mind Marcus is shirtless, and we used marshmallows for teeth... + wigs. and if you are wondering, my pumpkin is the Disneyland castle. because i love Disney of course :)

Halloween day: was spent in a fancy little Minnie Mouse costume at school, lunch at Cafe Rio with my friends, helping out with the elementary school parties with my mom, and stuffing my face with candy, pumpkin bars, and delicious pumpkin seeds.

best costume award goes to...... (drumroll if you please)
Emma and Joslynn. AKA: Khloe Kardashian and Lamar Odom!!
 greatest. thing. EVER.

that night we enjoyed ourselves at a sweet dance party in Provo, chillin at Hyrum's house, then hot tubbing in Emma's new hot tub! it was quite the halloween :)

and for all those wanting to roast up those pumpkin seeds, here is how i did mine!

roastin' of the pumpkin seeds
wash the seeds, put them all on a pan, spray with cooking spray (i used PAM), pour on some salt. Bake at 375 for 20 minutes, pull out & stir around, put on a little more PAM + salt, bake another 20 minutes!

hope you all had a happy halloween! stuffing your face with as much candy as you want, and wishing the day after that you didn't! (says my stomach... my smile on the other hand, was loving the candy!)

and i'd like to take this moment to say
welcome November! i hope this month is a good one! :)
